Advanced Masonry Techniques is a masonry business situated on Lake Huron in the town of Bayfield, Ontario. The client wanted a more professional logo to reflect the craftsmanship of the business.
I took inspiration from the nautical and beach vibe of the town of Bayfield which is reflected in the logo and chosen colour scheme. I thought it was clever to use a brick trowel (a common masonry tool) and arranged it to mimic a ships helm or steering wheel.
I’m proud of the logo transformation as the client now has a professional and appropriate logo to market his business while staying true to the spirit of the lakeside town where the business is located.
